Canadian Artist Toller Cranston (hand-painted ostrich egg) in Milner, British Columbia for sale

Hi! I have an original Canadian work of art for sale - something particularly appropriate as a unique and rare gift for that art-loving person in your life for a special birthday, Saint Valentine's Day, Easter, or for a wedding/anniversary - a real ostrich egg hand-painted by renown Canadian artist and skating champion Toller Cranston (1949 - 2015).
The paint colours are predominately pink and red but there is also green, blue, black, gold, white, and purple abstractly painted in oil. The condition of this work of art is excellent: it is in original condition with no chipped paint or blemishes. The egg measures 5" wide x 6" high.
Although this is literally a real "egg" that has been painted, it is an ostrich egg which means that it is not really that fragile - surprising tough and strong, in fact. Of course, there is a hole in the top (or bottom - you can display it either way up) where the egg's white and yolk was drained out. You can purchase acrylic or metal stands that support specifically ostrich eggs but I simply chose to display this egg by resting it on a glass candle holder. I will give you the glass stand with this purchase and you can display it as you choose in the future.
The purchase of this egg also comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity which both verifies its legitimacy but also includes details of this work of art's provenance.
